Valérie started teaching in 1995 at the Académie de Phytothérapie du Canada and at the École Buissonnière (Clef des champs). She than cofounded Flora Medicina. A trainer certified by the Center for Nonviolent Communication, she now devotes her time to teaching non-violent communication (professional program, 3rd year).

- Cofounder and member of the professional wing of the Guilde des herboristes
- Animator of conferences and workshops in North America
- Author of articles for many local and Canadian specialised publications
- Member of Health Canada’s committees on medicinal plants
- Certified trainer at the Center for Nonviolent Communication (mediation and consultation)
- Founder of Spiralis inc., a consultation firm in non-violent communication for individuals, couples, families and work colleagues.
